Four Bodies Found in Trunks at St Louis Station
Four trunks suspected of containing mutilated bodies were found at Union Station and sent to the morgue for investigation. They were brought from Memphis by Pacific Express en route to Omaha. Tragic suicide of Earl Newman in Milledgeville
Earl Newman, 22, adopted son of Charles Dyer, hanged himself at the Dyer home in Milledgeville Illinois. His body was found by Mrs. Dyer in the woodshed after he tied a rope to a beam and strangled himself following a period of gloom and threats.

D H Lamberton Dies After Illness at Salvation Army Barracks
D H Lamberton died this morning at 10 at his home near the Salvation Army barracks after a brief illness. Born in New York City in 1839, he moved here 86 years ago and is survived by his wife Julia Fletcher, a son Arthur, and a sister Mrs Young of Winslow. He was a veteran of the Civil War with the 96th Illinois Vol. He will be buried tomorrow afternoon from the Salvation Army barracks under arrangements by the John A. Davis post with Rev L C Burling officiating.
