Freeport High Proposes Changes to Northwestern Illinois League

Prof L A Fulwider of Freeport High reports the Northwestern Illinois High School league ran a deficit under $3 which Freeport covered. He proposes two literary contests next May for girls and boys, Friday meetings to boost attendance, eight to ten member schools, a campaign for excursion rates, and a January officers meeting. Last year’s events included track and oratorical contests and officials show strong interest amid mixed attempts to organize a basketball league.
