Judge O. EH. Heard traveled to Dixon this morning to conclude the libel case against E. E. Fuller editor of the Dixon Sun, with a ruling expected shortly.
The members of Second Presbyterian Church are invited to a reception this evening in the church parlors for Mr. and Mrs. Markley, the newly installed pastor and wife.
The Chicago Chronicle announced this morning that publication would be suspended with that issue due to unrecoverable losses. The paper, founded thirteen years ago, will cease operations after today’s edition.

A new moving picture theater opens in the former A W Ford Son store building. Doors open tomorrow at 2 p m with continuous performances every afternoon and evening. Admission is set at five cents. The Edison costliest Rigoletto quartet sung by Caruso Farrar and Scotti will be reproduced.
The Young People's Aid of the Lutheran church will operate a counter at Schoeffel and Brokhausen's grocery store on Saturday afternoon and evening to raise funds.
Charles E. Barr for Clinton Bridge company pled guilty in circuit court to conspiracy charges in counts fourteen and fifteen of the indictment. The case involves alleged bids and contracts for highway bridge construction across multiple towns. Sentencing was reserved, with further plea considerations anticipated from the Shons’ defense.

Miss Ida Damian and Charles Wagner were married last night at 6 oclock at the parsonage of the German Lutheran church by Rev A C Landeck. They went to the bride’s parents home at 185 Arcade avenue for a reception and supper. The groom is a painter and has worked in the city for years. The couple will reside at 185 Arcade avenue.
