Mrs. Adda Roberts Taggart wife of former Mayor Alfred Taggart died yesterday afternoon at her home at North and Ridge avenues Rockford after a illness of less than a week from pneumonia. She was born in Rock county Wis March 12 1840 and married Alfred J Taggart in Janesville in 1868. The couple lived in Beloit before moving to Rockford in 1874 where she resided ever since.
