The store proclaims the largest and most complete wallpaper and room mouldings line, with sample books for order from 25 cents. It claims exclusive citywide control, offers installation, hanging paper, calso mine, and interior decorating services plus house and sign painting and paints, oils, and glass.
Manila dispatch reports the American force reorganized into two divisions of three brigades each with Lawton and MacArthur taking command of the first and second divisions. Brigades remain assigned to provost guard duty as an attack on the battery at Loma Church by rebels yesterday was repulsed by the Pennsylvania with heavy losses.

In a cablegram announcing its arrival Admiral Dewey added that the Oregon is in fit condition for any duty. General Miles has received a dispatch dated Ponce Porto Rico stating that ex-Secretary Sherman was very much better.
Supreme court decision in Somanauk vs. People on relation of Henry F Hess and DeKalb county Board of Supervisors holds township creation laws mandatory. Justice Boggs states petition compliance leaves no discretion for the board and requires action.

Republican primaries will select township officers in city wards from 7 to 8 PM. Lancaster Republicans nominate W Winters to succeed James Beezner on the board of supervisors, with a strong ticket including I M Glasser town clerk and others. Democrats nominate Austin Yarger as supervisor and EB D Herbert for town clerk, among other offices.
The eminent Ottumwa Male quartet will sing here next Wednesday assisted by reader Jessie Kleinman, praised by Dr. H R Palmer as excellent from the Florida Chautauqua. The Kohaka Review notes her equal popularity as a reciter and calls her the best elocutionist heard here. Republicans urge turnout for township ticket primaries this evening with designated polling places.

Majority of district lodges vote to move the Odd Fellows celebration to June 21 in Polo from April 26. The event will be a basket picnic at the park if weather is favorable, or at the opera house otherwise. A good speaker is sought and Polo lodge aims to bolster Polo’s hospitality reputation.
