A cloud burst in Bellaire Ohio caused immense property damage. Sheep horses and cattle drowned. Trestle work bridges and seven houses with contents and the McMillan Bros canning plant were swept away by water in the Wegee creek. Trains delayed. No loss of life reported at this time.

Harvey Rev Walter Scott Leads North Harvey Revival

Rev Walter Scott a former Freeporter and nephew of J C Scott preached two eloquent sermons to well filled congregations last Sunday. Morning message focused on the Christian Family and the evening on the Desire to See Jesus. Prayer meetings have doubled in interest and attendance, the church grows stronger weekly, and more room is needed for the increasing congregation and Sunday school.
