Cars were halted early evening, then partial service resumed using interurban and Rockford power. today only half the usual cars operated due to weak power. one morning trip required the interurban car to reach the station with difficulty.
Charles Trunck finished the brick work on the engine room of the Franz Brothers artificial ice plant. The winter work proceeded with little interruption. Trunck, a veteran in the business, has secured major county contracts. Inside tracks will connect Wallace yards to the ice plant.

Miss Musser and Miss Wagner of Orangeville organized a $20 prize for the best original oration on Antie Narcotices to be awarded by the Freeport High School scholars. All High school students may enter, with the contest set for mid April.
