Fred Wagner of 55 High Street reported a neighbor’s careless handling of firearms after a .22 rifle bullet shattered his bathroom window and lodged in wainscoting. As the erection and improvement of the car repairing and carpenters shops at the Illinois Central round house in this city near completion, the company will need many more workers. They have advertised for fifty skilled men and now require 25 additional car repairers and 25 car carpenters to join the staff.
