Navy to hold winter drills of North Atlantic fleet
The Navy Department reports near completion of winter drill plans for the North Atlantic fleet. Two battleship squadrons, a destroyer flotilla, and an armored cruiser division will assemble at Hampton Roads in about three weeks for an extensive sea drill series. Secretary Bonaparte and Admiral Dewey will inspect before the fleet departs for Caribbean waters in spring.

Death of Dorothy Winters in East Freeport
Dorothy Winters died this morning at 12 40 after a year and a half illness. Born April 12 1891 in Pearl City she lived in Pearl City and Lena most of her life. She is survived by her parents three sisters Gertrude Nellie Marie and two brothers Leo and Earl. Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock from the family residence in East Freeport with Rev Father Griffin of St. Mary's Catholic church officiating.
