accident at Illinois Central yard injures Stopfer
Charles Stopfer, a worker at the Illinois Central round house, was riding the engine pilot in the yard when he slipped while getting off and was dragged a long distance. His foot was badly crushed, he was taken to the hospital where Dr Buckley attends him, and he faces possible loss of the foot. Stopfer has three children and a grieving widow.
