Pittsburg August 17 Two New York and Cleveland Gas Coal company guards deputy Robert Kerr and Frank Anderson fought on a bridge over Plum Creek. Kerr was mortally wounded when Anderson fired a pistol at close range. Kerr, a McKee’s Rocks river pilot, is said to be dying. Anderson, a Water Street dive owner, was detained by fellow deputies.
