Unnamed Lung Disease Cure Promoted in 19th Century Broadside
A sprawling 19th century advertisement promotes a patent remedy for lung and windpipe diseases including consumption, coughs, colds, asthma, whooping cough, and croup. It claims universal suitability, a nine‑out‑of‑ten cure rate with directions for use, and mentions agents in New York and nationwide distribution with discounts for sellers. It cites Rev. Tevie Covert’s endorsement and lists medical figures and locations to bolster credibility.
