Band in Band Plays as 127 Miners Appear in Chains
In Bloomsburg a crowd of 1500 gathered as 127 Centralia miners were taken for a hearing after insisting on one. Deputy Black led them to the county courthouse where Justice Jacoby released them on their own recognizances. no violence was found. The group included Centralia officials and ended with a spontaneous concert by the band.
