President Mitchell and coal company heads released their positions after Labor Commissioner Wright reported he has heard both sides. Wright will submit his findings to President Roosevelt. Mitchell met Wright and Civic Federation officials in New York, while operators shared correspondence with the United Mine Workers. Pickets continue at road entrances to Drifton as rail crews are called for duty amid ongoing unrest.
Mrs S E B Oberrender of Ridge and Front streets will visit her parents in Lykens. Rev J B Korschner and wife attend Franklin and Marshall College commencement in Lancaster. Misses Louisa Davis Crifton Pearl Mowry Marie Lesser, West Chester students, are home. James E Perry returns from Scranton visits. Mathew Broderick, tied to the Norristown fastball squad, is in town for his brother’s wedding and will join his team on a western tour tomorrow. The Drifton Chesters face the Pioneers of Hazleton at Hazleton on Saturday and at Drifton on Sunday. The Upper Lehigh team plays either the Chesters or Drifton at that venue today. The Y M C A defeated the clerks at the Tigers park yesterday.
At St Anns church this morning Martin Broderick and Miss Kate Mulhearn of town were united in marriage by Rev John Moore in the presence of friends. John Broderick brother of the groom was best man and Miss Kate Conaghan of Bristol was bridesmaid. After a wedding breakfast the party drove to White Haven and then to Niagara Falls where they will spend some time. They will reside later on South Washington street.

From the Wilkes-Barre Record a strike tale notes the arrest and jail stay of financier J Pierpont Morgan on conspiracy charges amid an anthracite miners dispute. Morgan and 29 others faced hearings, then dummy prisoners were held in cells at the station house.

A sizeable Hazleton delegation from Palestine Commandery Knights of Malta paid a fraternal visit to Garfield Commandery Tuesday evening. They participated in conferring the Knights of Malta degree at Krell's hall and held a banquet at the Hotel Osborne after the meeting.
Improvements to properties are under way, with the Baptist church at Ridge and Walnut streets now completed and the property much improved. Mrs. Lawlor continues extensive repairs at Washington and Luzerne streets, and the Gallagher property at Centre and Main streets also sees improvements underway.
Ella Kemsinski, three, of Third ward, wandered to Wilkison's hotel in Butler Valley on Monday. Parents Mr. and Mrs. Paul Kemsinski were distressed by the disappearance until police located her. She is now back at home.
