In a total of 948 votes cast yesterday the Democratic ticket carried Hazle township with majorities of 300 to 400, electing all nominees including supervisor Patrick Wiggins by 401 and defeating coal interests. Scranton also chose P. W. Costello as controller over Evan Morris.
