Seneca County Children’s Committee A Century of Aid
The Seneca County Children’s Committee builds on a century of service as a key United Fund agency guiding child welfare. It funded a welfare worker from 1908, helped establish a probation department and family counseling, and now channels 96 percent of its funds locally. Details cover foster care support, scholarships, camp programs, and small essentials, plus community gratitude from program beneficiaries. Local officials note ongoing commitment to bridging deprivation for foster children and those in institutions.
