Hector Land Use Area Roads Rebuilt For Visitors
Two primary access roads in the Hector Land Use Area have been widened and graveled for 1.5 miles under a Cooperative Agreement between the Town of Hector and the U.S. Forest Service. The Forest Service covers part of the costs as these roads serve public use of the federal lands. Paul Shaw, Forester in Charge, notes the joint effort and benefits to all visitors.
