Interlaken Water Aid Request Rejected
At the August village board meeting Interlaken's plea for state aid to develop a water system was rejected. The plan would have funded 10 000 to pump water from Cayuga Lake but was denied due to existing systems and insufficient population. Delinquent water and sewer bills were discussed and will be shut off. next meeting is Oct 13.

Hickman-Haviland Wedding Solemnized in Interlaken
Miss Virginia Haviland and Henry G. Hickman wed at St Francis DeSales Church Geneva on Saturday August 6 1966 at noon. The bride daughter of Mr and Mrs James Haviland Interlaken and the groom son of Mr and Mrs H Glenn Hickman Spiro Oklahoma. The ceremony featured a cascade bouquet and pearlized crown with attendants including matron of honor Mrs John Loree Penn Yan and bridesmaids Miss Sue Wyckoff Interlaken and Miss Karen Draheim Seneca Falls. After the ceremony a buffet at the Town Pump Orleans followed rehearsals and showers. The couple will reside in Spiro Oklahoma where Hickman farms.
