Youthpower Plans Contest in Seneca County 1966-67
The Seneca County Youthpower Steering Committee met at Waterlo Farm and Home Center to plan a 1966 67 program aimed at exposing youth to career opportunities in food and agriculture. A county contest awards savings bonds and a trip to the state Youthpower Congress in February with state winners advancing to Chicago in March. A November 12 luncheon and a business community workshop are planned, with four winners (two oral and two written) and sponsor support from local farms dairies grocers and Farm Bureau.
