Taxidermy Mini Course Offered At Junior High
In Trumansburg a six week course in taxidermy and staining skeletons is taught in Building 1 this fall. Seventh and eighth graders prepare skins under Mrs Anthony DeFranco guidance. Taxidermy is the most popular mini course among eighteen offered as part of a full after school curriculum on Wednesdays. Guidance counselor Edie Husted promoted these skills after last year's successful lunch hour trials.
