Ovid Scouts Attend International Encampment in Toronto
Ovid scouts Ronald Beck er and Randy Beck er joined 60 Explorers and 13 adult leaders from Finger Lakes Council returning from a weekend encampment on Snake Island in Toronto Harbour. Canadian Rovers supplied tents meals and an action filled program with urban hikes via transit. Tours included National Bank of Canada Toronto City Hall Fort York and HMCS HADI A. The Saturday dance featured Canadian Girl Guides and Sunday offered church services Olympic games and awards at luncheon.
