Released Time Religious Education Classes Begin in Interlaken
Interlaken schools start Released Time Classes in Religious Education for grades 1 through 6 on November 7, to run Fridays 1:00 to 3:00 at the Reformed Church through December 15, with resumption in March through May. Teachers Miss Doloris Reed and Miss Joan Pledlow from Ithaca lead sessions. all Protestant children invited, and parents may sit in.

Four Injured In Interlaken Rt 96 Two-Car Crash
Four people were hurt in a two car collision on Rt 96 one half mile north of Interlaken at 1 am. Clifford Lincoln Ruth Lincoln of Interlaken Mary Moffett of Philadelphia Pa and Thomas Baldwin Jr of Medic Pa were treated at Tompkins County Hospital and released. Baldwin drove into the opposite lane after skidding and struck the Lincoln vehicle. Lincoln suffered a nose injury. Mrs Lincoln had mouth cuts bruises and scrapes. Baldwin had a head injury. Mrs Moffett sustained bruises scrapes and a possible wrist fracture. Trooper Herman C Brown said Baldwin was alone in his car when the accident occurred.
