Interlaken’s Legion Auxiliary calls for donations of toys books games dolls and doll clothes for Christmas gifts at the Canandaigua Veterans Hospital gift shop event running November 28 to December 1. They need money for gifts and volunteers each day and will pickup donations by calling Elizabeth Egan at 532 4401.

Evangelistic Meetings at Interlaken Baptist Church
The First Baptist Church of Interlaken hosts a week of evangelistic services led by Rev Paul Dixon from Chattanooga daily at 7 30 P M with a final Sunday service. An early 6 55 A M breakfast serves high school students with the Preacher Pals youth groups providing music and special guests. Mrs Roberta Raybold of Williamsport Pa concert organist and pianist performs Thursday with her son Paul aiding in a short recital. Transportation can be arranged by calling Rev Edward H Miller’s office.

Interlaken PTA to Screen Student Films and Slides
Interlaken Central School activities filmed by Robert Gerlach will be shown at the PTA meeting on Monday November 14 at 8 p.m. in the auditorium with business first. The program includes classroom shop and physical education footage plus cafeteria scenes and a district needs slide presentation by Principal Maurice L. Patterson. PTA membership drive continues with $1.00 per couple and 75 cents for a single. A Talent Show is set for Saturday November 12 at 8 p.m. at ICS with tickets 1.00 for adults and 50 cents for children.

Choir at Interlaken hears Waverly Consort Quintet
Interlaken Central School students in grades 5 8 heard the Waverly Consort Quintet on October 19, 1966. Arranged by the Young Audiences Organization of Binghamton NY and funded by Title II of the NDEA the group performed music from about 300 years ago, sung and played on period instruments.
