Willard State Hospital Blood Drive Sets History Record
Willard State Hospital ran a coordinated Red Cross Bloodmobile drive reaching every employee. On October 11 at Hadley Hall 108 pints were collected from 139 staff, including 54 new donors and 24 student nurses. Gertrude Brown coordinated the effort with state and hospital planning.
