The Ovid Federated Church will dedicate its new home for the pastor with a Sunday service at 10 00 a m on November 12 led by Rev Charles Hurst from Geneva Presbytery and Rev Robert Homer from the United Methodist Church Central New York Conference joining in the dedication.
The Tru mansburg Area Council of Churches announces a Union Thanksgiving Service at First Baptist Church Trumansburg on Wednesday November 22 at 730 p m Rev Dolen Morris will deliver the message with assist from Rev William Taber Father Ryan and Rev Hardin A High School chorus led by Ed Prevost will sing Everyone is invited A Bible study group formed in October will continue in November led by Rev Morris and later Rev Taber in the Church of the Epiphany Lodi events include worship services meetings and a bazaar November 18 at the Lodi Town Hall with donations requested for various booths and items
Evangelistic meetings are scheduled for November 18 19 at the Ovid Center Baptist Church. A Friday 3:00 p.m. coffee klatch will precede a 7:30 p.m. service with guest speaker Vinny Russo. Russo will also speak Sunday November 19 at 10:15 a.m. Gordon Champion is the pastor.

TRUMANSBURG Mrs Louise Tunison 84 of Boca Raton Fla died Wed Nov 1 1972 at The Fountains Nursing Home after a long illness. She was a former Trumansburg resident and widow of Wesley Tunison and member of Trumansburg Episcopal Church and Juanita Rebekah Lodge 336.
Interlaken resident George W. Hunt 85 dies after long illness at Tompkins County Hospital Ithaca. He served as church trustee and Sunday School superintendent at First Baptist Interlaken and held roles in Farmerville Lodge 183 F and A M Interlaken Grange 160 P of H and Seneca County Extension Service. Carlton R. Boyd 58 of Trumansburg dies Oct. 27 at Tompkins County Hospital after a long illness. He owned Boyd Heating and Air Conditioning Co. in Ithaca and belonged to Scottsville Presbyterian Church Rochester Masonic Lodge A A of Rochester and Ithaca. survived by three sons a daughter two brothers two sisters and other relatives. Funeral services for Hunt set 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church Interlaken with burial in Lake View Cemetery. The Hurlbut Funeral Home handles arrangements.
She is survived by a sister Mrs. Mabel Rittenhouse of Boca Raton and several cousins. Funeral and committal services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hurlbut Funeral Home Interlaken. Rev. Robert Beggs of Ithaca officiated. Burial was in Grove Cemetery Trumansburg.
