More than 100 boys and girls attend the Halloween party at the South Seneca Central School in Ovid sponsored by the Ovid Youth Center Inc. The event featured prizes for many age groups, cider and donuts, and no photos due to camera problems.

The Undersheriff logged a string of incidents across Lodi Interlaken and Ovid from Oct 27 to Nov 2. Notable items include a two car collision on Rt 414 injuring no one, a bad check arrest in Ovid, a signal-light vandalism probe near LodI Point Road, a ditched vehicle after a dog incident, rear end collision at a school driveway, a football injury, probation arrest for Day, and a deer collision near Interlaken.
