Interlaken FFA Wins Gold Seal at State Convention
Interlaken FFA earns Gold seal for 1963 FFA Demonstration Program at the state convention held May 10 in Syracuse. Arthur J. Wells of Syracuse, Agway coordinator, presented the certificate. Chapter advisor Gordon Mereness notes this is their 14th award in 14 years. Members Glenn Curran Gary Hunt Philip Stannard attended with advisor Mereness.

Trumansburg considers water rate hike proposal
At the village board meeting Commissioner Clifford Northrup proposed raising water charges to 9.25 per 1 000 and 0 65 per 1 000 gal over that amount, up from 8.25 per 4 000 gal. Outside the village the rate increases by a similar amount. The higher rates take effect with the next billing date August 1.

United Fund plans OVID Auxiliary meetings and antique show
The 1968 United OVID Auxiliary 72 to S.U.V. C.W. sponsors an antique show and sale at the Ovid Municipal Building May 18 from 10 30 a.m. to 9 p.m. benefiting the New York State Chief of Staff's Fund.
