Interlaken Ladies Auxiliary to the Interlaken Fire Dept met April 27 for a pot luck supper and to install officers for the coming year. Officers include President Paula Haskin and trustees Lyvia Freese Betty Lou MacCheyne Mary Worrell. Installing officers were Elizabeth Orman and Gloria Close. Committee chairs named cover membership sunshine publicity marching and more with the annual Firemen's Carnival set for June 15 to 17.

Thomas Delyser son of Mr and Mrs Herbert Delyser has been accepted at Pratt Institute Brooklyn for the Fall Semester to major in graphic art and design. He participated in French and art among many activities including NYSSMA solo, band, theater and student council roles. He earned honors in design contests and scholastic recognition and the carnival proceeds will fund local auxiliary projects and cookbook sales.

Interlaken Farm ersville Lodge 183 Free and Accepted Masons will confer the third degree on five candidates Tuesday May 16. Master Masons are urged to attend the colorful ritual to be presented by the local degree team. Lodge opens at 8 00 p.m. Supper serves at 6 30 p.m. Reservations with M L Harring by May 27. On June 6 three senior Masons receive pins 60 years for RW Henry Wikoff and 50 years for John and James Kellogg.

Cub Scout Pack 21 Hiking Trip Report
On Saturday May 6 twenty two cub scouts hiked from Interlaken School to Scout camp on the Don Pell property and back via Holton Beach Road to Myron McCoy's home where parents picked them up. They lunch at the camp and played games while Bill Bullivant gave a camp tour. Accompanying the scouts were Art Batchelder David Clark Ed Hymes and Robert Vallely. Next pack meeting is Thursday May 25 1967 at 7 p.m. in Interlaken Central School auditorium.
