4th Annual Auxiliary Antique Show and Sale in Ovid
The Ovid Auxiliary to the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War hosts its 4th Annual Antique Show and Sale on Saturday May 15 at the Municipal Building Ovid from 10 am to 9 pm. Dealers from nearby towns will display and sell authentic antiques. Lunch at noon and a chicken barbecue at 4:30 pm are open to the public.

New church in Sheldrake to hold first service on Mother's Day

Deer in road causes multiple accidents in Interlaken area
Undersheriff Gerald Brewer reports two deer related crashes in Interlaken. Linda Larsen, 18, on Arden Road near Halls Corners, lost control and hit a ditch. she received hospital treatment for injuries. Richard M. Tokar, 23, RD2, Interlaken, hit a deer on Route 89 and sustained vehicle damage.

Deer Kills Driver in Route 96 Collision Near Powell Road
On Sunday May 2 at 8 30 p m Neva MacCheyne 67 RD I Interlaken operated a car west on Route 96 one tenth mile east of Powell Road and struck a deer that ran into its path. The vehicle suffered considerable damage and Deputy Robert Favreau investigated the last two accidents.
