Kenyon Florists Keeps Greenhouse Tradition Alive
Kenyon Florists in Ovid has expanded from a small greenhouse operation to a largely wholesale model. Clinton Kenyon built the business, now run by Lloyd Kenyon after 1962, with eight greenhouses and ten outside houses. The company handles about 700,000 mum cuttings annually, with tulips and iris adding substantial bulb work. They offer seeds, plants, tools, and garden equipment, operating 8:30 to 5:30 weekdays.
