John F. Maguire 51 of West Seneca street dies at Clifton Springs Hospital after a long illness. Funeral services at John B. Cov ert Funeral Home and Holy Cross Church with Rev. William Lammers officiating. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery. He founded the Maguire Hotel and Restaurant in Ovid and is survived by wife Velma, a daughter Joan Wolfe, a son James, step-children, grandchildren, his parents and siblings. Mourners include relatives in Ovid and nearby towns.
