The Rev John Walter Irwin was installed as pastor by the Romulus West Fayette Presbyterian churches at a Sunday service in Romulus presided by Elder Sarah Clark first female moderator of the Geneva Presbytery. Other participants included Rev James E Spear and Rev Harold S Giffen. The event followed lengthy confirmation of the pastor and featured a reception with church leaders and members. Irwin, previously in Grove City Pa, succeeds as pastor and shares the post with Patricia Irwin. The couple has three children and all are students at Romulus Central School.
