Former Trumansburg skater to headline Ithaca exhibition
Ithaca Cornell Figure Skating Club presents Ice Time U S A on March 1 at Lynah Rink with two performances. Guest skater Liz Blatherwick, a Trumansburg alumna, skates with partner Rob Kaine of Spencer. Both are Gold Dance contenders with recent top finishes in regional events and train in Indianapolis and Wilmington.

Agriculture district meeting set in Trumansburg
The Extension Service and Farm Bureau sponsor a meeting to discuss an agriculture district. Gordon Conklin of the American Agriculturist will be the speaker. Representatives from the Extension Service will be present. The meeting is Thursday Mar 16 at 8 p.m. in the Jacksonville Church.

The Trumansburg Alumni Committee met Monday to organize events for the reunion. A Round and Square dance is set for April 8 at 8 00 at the Firehouse with raffle tickets to support a school project. A March 27 meeting at the American Legion Home and an April 10 gathering at Mary Ditmars home are planned. July 29 remains the reunion date.

Volunteer Firemen Respond In Snow Emergency
Fire Chief Moore reports 16 calls by Trumansburg volunteers last month. About 20 snowmobilers aided deliveries and transportation. 21 people were housed at the fire house Saturday night and equally many on Sunday. Food donated by auxiliary members and firemen's wives. Searsburg Grange 494 meets March 17 at 8 pm with 7 pm picnic supper and program.
