The Pumpernickel Restaurant opened after four years of planning on Bean's Hill replacing Clark's Diner. Mr and Mrs Mirras, long residents of Canandaigua, run the firm with their son John. the kitchen houses over 100000 dollars in equipment with 5 cooks and 25 to 30 employees. The eatery bakes pies donuts cakes and bread daily and offers a five course Sunday dinner at noon. hours are 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.
