Civilians Retire Two Depot Workers After Long Service
Harold Shirtz a locomotive engineer and Loren Poth a supervisory firefighter both retire this month from the depot after more than twenty five years of federal service. Shirtz began in 1928 and Poth entered service in 1944 while from Seneca Falls and Valois. Col W G Senior and acting CO present retirement certificates.

Troop 84 Reactivated At Depot After Two Years
A charter for reactivating Boy Scout Troop 84 at the depot was presented to Lt. Wilbert Ensenat by Geneva BSA Office officials. A Court of Honor announced Eagle Scout Michael Senior, Tenderfoot Charles Rasch, and awards to John Archer. Lt Richard Roane leads as Scoutmaster. committee includes Maj Rasch and Maj Corlew, with depot families contributing to a reception at the NCOC Club.
