Beef Barbecue and Parade Highlight Lodi Old Tyme Days
The Lodi Old Tyme Days featured a second annual beef barbecue sponsored by the Fire Dept and led by Webb Ganoung. Chefs steamed 658 pounds of beef for 26 hours, served with sauce, amid a Grand Old Tyme Parade with multiple winners across bands cars and fire department entries. A joke at the end notes a German optimist learning English versus pessimist learning Russian.
