Local graduates tally as area students earn degrees
TRUMANSBURG and INTERLAKEN report multiple 1971 commencements. Ruth Bower and William Szabo received associate degrees at Alfred Agr, while Lois Hubbard and David Miller earned nursing and design degrees. Auburn Community College conferred 548 degrees, including Mary Comin and Ginny Hausner. John Swanson III earned a Cornell B.S. in agriculture and Thomas De Lyser won Pratt Institute’s BFA.
