Trumansburg Hosts Two Day Junior Varsity Tournament
Trumansburg Central School hosts a two day J V tournament with Groton versus Waverly at 4 30 p m on Monday January 30 followed by Trumansburg against Dryden. On Wednesday February 1 losers play at 5 00 p m and winners at 6 00 p m. Only players not yet in varsity competition are eligible.

Trumansburg Central beat Watkins Glen 63-53 at Trumansburg Tuesday as the Blue Raiders pulled away with a 15-2 second quarter run and used younger players later. Jerry Hoffman scored 29 for Trumansburg, Charlie Wheeler 13, Ron Smith led Watkins Glen with 12. Trumansburg JV won 63-45 for their eighth straight.
