Library officials visit Willard State Hospital
William T Weitzel and Gertrude Laird of the Finger Lakes Library System Ithaca visited Willard State Hospital with two trustees Mrs Daniel Yale and Mrs Thomas Bond. The group met with hospital staff to discuss library objectives and needs for library services and explored the patients library as a therapeutic environment for future cooperation with the system.

Candle Project At To ken Economy Unit Brightens Holidays
The unit reports candles produced and sold around the hospital and Syracuse raising funds for patient gifts. Residents organized group activity to involve most patients and enjoyed holiday events including movies cards a concert and a Santa visit.
