Presbyterian women elect UPW officers for church year
Marguerite Ferguson and Esther Voorhees are elected co presidents of the United Presbyterian Women at the December meeting held at Mrs. Elmer Porter’s home. Officers include Barbara Westervelt vice president Allouise Lincoln secretary Jean Eastman treasurer and Pauline Bales Cora Van Vleet and Bernice Raymond sewing mission and community service. Sun shine chairs are Clara Close and Sarah Dorothy Boyer. A 10 by 25 foot lounge project will be built with lunch for volunteers on Saturday January 8 at 9 am. Further annual meeting is planned for January 14 with a 6:30 pm supper and 7:45 pm business session. All are welcome.
