Christmas reflections and community notes in Interlaken
The Interlaken column reflects on Christmas afterglow and a year ending. It celebrates local efforts Curt Seward and John Porter for Eagle Scout aims, Girl Scouts and Firemen’s auxiliary aid to the ambulance fund, and visits to Community Manor with a $5000 Ithaca College prize funding a new TV. It notes weather chaos, a failed school facility vote, and a New Year service at the Baptist Church as 1973 closes.
