Northeast Dairy Cooperative Federation and Dairylea urge amendments to Federal Marketing Order 2 to align prices with other regions and remove competitive disadvantages for northeast farmers. He notes current costs exceed proposed credits, leaving insufficient margins for Order 2 handlers.
