Token Economy Unit conducts multi-day staff workshop series

The Token Economy Team held a June 26 28 workshop led by William Harris with Education and Federal Grant teams. Staff nurses received clinical assignments, and multiple educational sessions covered nutritional care of stroke patients and moderator institutes.

Management Technique Awards Twenty-Four Hospital Staff

Twenty four Willard State Hospital employees received Civil Service certificates on July 18 for completing a 40 hour management technique workshop at Willard maintenance. The program covered leadership plant safety and labor relations with Elmira Psychiatric Center staff among participants. Dr R K Karlsson and Charles A Blohm arranged the course and plan another on electrical maintenance this fall.
