Interlaken area group forms to appeal school merger ruling
A meeting at the Interlaken American Legion Home on July 28 organized the South Seneca Communities Taxpayers Association. Thomas Boyes was elected chairman and Preston Kellogg recording secretary to inform residents about the May 1 1968 merger election between Ovid Central and Interlaken Central School Districts and the appellate court decision. The group aims to publicize the Supreme Court Appellate Division ruling and local control issues.

Chicken Barbecue and Auction for Tarbell Field Lights
