Ulysses Urges Special Census to Boost State Aid and Representation
Town Supervisor Clifford E. Bower explains a special census will lift per capita state aid, currently over $25,000 yearly, by counting more residents. He notes likely population gains since 1960 and cites the one man one vote Supreme Court ruling increasing Ulysses’ influence on the County Board.
