Atlantic Pavilion showcases seafood and schooner project
A sea themed exhibit at Dryden restaurant overlooking Montreal Harbor features Saint John River salmon and Atlantic lobster. Nova Scotia boat-builder David Stevens will construct a two masted schooner named ATLANTICA in a 60 foot boat pit, to launch later in summer from the Atlantic Pavilion. The venue includes a seafood restaurant serving up to half a ton daily and marine exhibits like a 30 foot whalebone wall with giant skulls and bones from Trinity Bay, Nfld. The Atlantic Pavilion near the federal Canadian complex examines Atlantic history and industry with weather instruments at a central mast console.
