The Chinese Art Of Healing Reviewed For Modern Readers
Stephan Palos, a Sinologist and former Swiss physiotherapist, reviews acupuncture from its ancient roots to Mao era mandates. The book covers T chi flow, meridians, needle points, ear nose and heart connections, and practices like electro acupuncture moxibustion and herbal remedies with early efforts to record data. Some scientists doubt the T chi claims, but practitioners foresee a potential Golden Age of acupuncture late in the 20th century.
