Mounted Panther Exhibited Here at Buckhorn Bar
A mounted panther killed in March by Emil Crenwelge in Pecan Creek is on display at Buckhorn bar on upper Main Street. The Kerrville taxidermist mounted it in a natural stance with the right foot raised, and manager Harvey Klaerner says the exhibition will run for several weeks.

Graduation exercises for St Marys School were held Wednesday night May 24 at St Josephs Hall. Pabst Distributor Hosts Dealers in Fredericksburg
The Pabst Brewing Company through local distributor Erwin C. Kraus entertained beer dealers and guests with a picture show and banquet at the Nimitz Hotel in Fredericksburg. A film traced brewing from grain planting to bottled product, directed by W J D Bradford Jr of the Pabst Brewery. The program noted the brewery’s growth from 300 barrels yearly in 1844 to its current capacity.

Mrs. H Walter Injured In Car Mishap Between Comfort And Fredericks
Mrs. Hugo Walter was seriously injured Wednesday when the car she rode in overturned several times on the Comfort Highway between Comfort and Fredericks. The vehicle driven by Mrs. Max T Henke carried other passengers including Louise Kramer Esther Barsch and Adolph Filter. only Mrs. Henke suffered minor bruises. Mrs. Walter was treated for concussion chest injuries and contusions at a local hospital and held for observation as the vehicle, en route to San Antonio, suffered a blowout on the right rear wheel.
