War Savings Visit To Foster Victory In Gillespie County
Fredericksburg will host F. R. Senor Field Director of the War Savings Committee from Washington. He will instruct residents on saving and buying War Saving Stamps to support the war effort. Raid on Wolves Ends in Wolf Den Kills
Messrs T J Ratliff and Ernest Ricketson, residents near Enchanted Rock, visited town Tuesday and reported a raid on two wolf dens. Ratliff killed seven cubs about fox size and Ricketson three. The mothers escaped but may meet the same end. Wolves and goats can’t be friends, and the men are ensuring the wolves vacate the country.
