Meteor Falls Over Fredericksburg Area Witnessed

Governor Alfred E. Smith of New York secured the Democratic nomination on the first ballot at the national convention. Accident Ends in Self Inflicted Shot While Hunting
Otto Crenwelge accidentally shot himself while trying to poke the gun down a tree. The turkey shot tore flesh on his palm and fractured several small bones. He received surgical care at Keidel and Witte hospital and is reported as doing as well as can be expected.
